Where Creativity Began: Summer 2007
The journey of YoderDo began when a few small quilling cards arrived from Europe. Though simple in design, they inspired a vision for creating handcrafted artisan paper crafts filled with creativity, detail, and quality.
Working with friends and family in Saigon, we spent months developing the foundation for what would become YoderDo.
Our Journey Through the Years
Summer–Winter 2007
Built our vision around quality handmade products, fair pricing, local craftsmanship in Saigon, and continuous creativity. These values shaped our growing collection.
April 2008
Organized our first export shipment to the USA, officially introducing our handmade artisan paper crafts to customers in the United States.
June 2008
YoderDo officially launched as YoderDo DBA quillingcards.com, marking the beginning of our handmade greeting card business.
July 2008
Began attending street fairs in Oceanside, California, where customer support encouraged us to expand our collection.
October 2008
Expanded our product line with gift cards, framed quilling artwork, holiday collections, and more detailed handcrafted designs.
February 2009
Returned to Saigon to improve design concepts, strengthen quality control, and prepare for larger future orders.
May 2009
Expanded into stores across Southern California while continuing local street fairs and developing the YoderDo website.
September 2009
Officially launched the YoderDo online store, bringing the first online orders for our handmade custom quilling cards.
September–November 2009
Expanded into 14 retail stores across San Diego and Orange Counties.
December 2009
Completed our first corporate Christmas card orders, marking another milestone in our growing artisan paper crafts journey.
